A native of Laurens County, where she spent much of her life, she was the daughter of the late John Faircloth and the late Sadie Faircloth. She had been one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1940 and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Register and her grandson, Ricky Jernigan. Mrs. Register died Tuesday.
Survivors include her two sons, Ralton Register of Dublin and Thurlon Register of Lake Sinclair; two daughters, Lucile Jernigan of Warner Robins and Blannie "Skeeter" Crooms of Dublin; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will be at the home of Joel and Connie Wyatt, 439 Dewey Warnock Road, Dublin.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 until 8 p.m.
