Major League Baseball Player. Played Major League baseball as a catcher for 7 seasons (1879, 1882-1886, 1888) with the Chicago White Stockings (Cubs), Buffalo Bisons, St. Louis Maroons (of the Union Association), St. Louis Browns (of both the National League and the American Assocation) and the AA Baltimore Orioles. A backup player who saw limited service though his career (the most he played in one year as 81 games in 1883), his career totals were 225 Games Played, 165 Hits, 95 Runs, 1 Home Run and a .204 Career Batting Average.
