JASPER COOPER DIES TUESDAY
At Home in Lafayette--Body Of Former Resident Shipped To Mitchell Today
The body of Jasper Cooper, 67, former resident of the Buddha neighborhood, who died at his home in Lafayette Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness of pneumonia, was brought on Monon passenger No.5 to the Haverly Mortuary in Mitchell this afternoon.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed yet for the deceased who was a farmer.
Mr. Cooper was born near Buddha in 1868 to Boone and Sarah Cooper. He was united in marriage to Minnie Kelly, who survives him. Other survivors are five sons, Ralph, Boone, and Ora of Lafayette and John and Curtis of Michigan City, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Cleveland, of Lafayette.
