John J. Adams, 76, a well known farmer of the Frankfort, Kansas community, passed away at McGhie hospital on Wednesday morning, July 13, 1949 following a long illness.
Mr. Adams had spent most of his life in this community and was a successful farmer in the Winifred, Kansas area.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Mrs. Marie Wagner, Bigelow, Kansas, Irene Adams, Kansas City, Mrs. Margaret Noud, Lillis, Kansas, Mrs. Alice Atkin, McComb, Mississippi, Mrs. Genitha Horigan, Frankfort, Kansas, Kathryn Adams, Kansas City, John Adams, Frankfort, Kansas, Ruth Adams, Kansas City.
Funeral services were held at Annunciation Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
