John J. Adams, 81, Frankfort, Kansas died Friday, September 20, 1996, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
Mr. Adams was a farmer
He was born May 14,1915, in rural Frankfort Kansas, the son of John J. and Margaret
(Treinen) Adams. He graduated from Frank- fort High School.
Mr. Adams was a member of Annunciation
Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and he was a 4th Degree Knight.
He was married to Mollie Moser February 20
1956, at Marysville, Kansas. She died May
6, 1978. He was married to Marie Jurgens
Meints on September 10, 1982, at Beatrice,
Nebraska. She survives.
Other survivors include six stepsons, Ervin Moser, Topeka, Kansas, Glenn Moser, Manhattan,Kansas, Verl Moser, Jacksonville Florida, Donald Meints, Boston, Richard Merints, Beatrice, Nebraska, John Merints, Hanover, Kansas; three step-daughters Diana Church, Dallas, Texas, Mary Jo Newman, Beatrice, Nebraska, Carol Morris, Lincoln, Nebraska; five sisters, Irene Adams and Ruth Adams, both of Kansas City, Kansas, Margret Noud, Seneca, Kansas Genitha Horigan, Frankfort, Kansas, Kath- Erine Reeves, Louisburg, Kansas; 19 step- grandchildren and 12 step-great-grand- children.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 1996, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort, Kansas with Father Jim Shaughnessy officiating.
Organist was Bill Noud.
Pallbearers were Joe Horigan, Bob Wagner, Charles Wagner, Dave Dwerlkotte, Michael Noud and Harold Wagner.
Burial was at Mount Calvary Cemetery,
