On last Tuesday [November 16, 1948] the death angel took away the sweet spirit of Mrs. Edwin P. Fields at St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville. Thelma, as we knew her had a sweet personality. She was a member of the Methodist Church. We might wonder why God called her away from her husband and 2 small children at the age of 24 years, but we know it's part of His plan. Funeral service was at the Methodist Church Thursday afternoon conducted by the pastor Bro. Sharp, with interment in the family cemetery near here. The beautiful floral tributes showed the esteem in which she was held. We extend deepest sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
