Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. W.E. Aikman of Wewoka, Okla., mother of Norman L. Aikman, employed in the materials department of the Phillips Petroleum Co.
Mrs. Aikman succumbed Thursday night following a month's illness. She became ill while here about a month ago and was confined to a local hospital for nearly a week before being removed to Wewoka.
Norman has gone to Wewoka for the services.
