Funeral services were Tuesday morning for Mrs. John Windholz, a pioneer of Western Kansas,, who died Sunday at her home at the age of 83.
Mrs. Windholz was born at Pfeifer, Russia in 1858. She came to America in 1876 and in 1878 after her marriage to John Windholz, settled on a farm near Emmeram where she lived until her death.
Mrs. Windholz is survived by her husband who is 85 years of age and ten children, 72 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
