Funeral for Matilda Rebecca Peebles Bradley, 82, of Decatur will be Monday at noon at Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mooresville with the Rev. James Robinson officiating.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Bradley died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Windsor House Nursing Home in Huntsville. She was born April 8, 1917, in Limestone County to Egbert Peebles and Jo Timmie Sandifer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star W.C. Morton Chapter No. 320 and Mount Zion Presbyterian Church, where she served on the usher board.

She is survived by one son, Carl Bradley of Huntsville; six daughters, Hattie Mae Fuller of Decatur, Rosevelt Vaughn, Jo Timmie Holman and Idella Jefferson, all of Huntsville, Queen Ester Peppers of Chattanooga and Gloria Caudle of Belle Mina; three brothers, Egbert Peebles of Mooresville, Eddie Peebles of Chattanooga and John Richard Sandifer of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Laurie Jolley of Decatur, Louvenia Sandifer of Greenbrier and Ruby Garrison of Louisville; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
