MRS. E. WAGNER PASSES AWAY AT EAU CLAIRE, WIS.
Messages received in the city this afternoon announced the death of Mrs. Ernst
Wagner, a former well known resident of the city at Eau Claire, where the family
has resided for ten years. No details of the death are given.
The body will be shipped here and will arrive tomorrow and the funeral will be
held from the Vogelsang undertaking rooms Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Wagner, nee Emma Mika, was born in this city and is well remembered here.
Her husband, Ernst Wagner, was engaged in business for years in the building
located at the present site of the Wood block. The husband and two daughters
survive.

DEATH OF MRS. WAGNER AT EAU CLAIRE; SUDDEN
The death of Mrs. Ernst Wagner at Eau Claire yesterday was sudden, resulting from
a stroke of paralysis, according to further information received here. The body
arrived yesterday and the funeral was held from the Vogelsang chapel to Evergreen
this afternoon, Rev. Keicher officiating.
Mrs. Wagner was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mika and was born August 5, 1859.
She was married in 1878 to the husband, who with two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Roach
of Kansas City and Miss Ilma Wagner survives. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Moses Reis
of California and Mrs. Chas. Fisher of Chicago also survive. The family resided
here up till 1902.
