Lillian Estelle DeGross passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 25, 2010. She was born in Onalaska, WA to Solomon and Bessie Hensley on August 27, 1917. Raised in Salkum, WA, she became a long-time resident of Enumclaw, WA where her husband Carl and she founded and operated DeGross Logging and Construction Company for many years. They were active and well-known members of the community. Prior to Carl's death in 2004, they had moved into Living Court in Enumclaw where they enjoyed many friendships. Most recently, Lillian had resided near her surviving son, Darrell, and his wife Darlene, of Marysville, WA. Her son Dean and his wife Beverly, also of Enumclaw, both preceded her in death. She will be missed by Darrell and Darlene, her six grandchildren and their families who live in California and Washington, and many extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 1, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Salkum Cemetery on Wilcox Rd. in Salkum, WA 98582.
