~Naomi Ruth Moore Crisp~

Mrs. Naomi Ruth Moore Crisp, age 69 of Marion, died on Monday, October 6, 2003 at The McDowell Hospital. Born in McDowell County on August 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William Alonzo Moore and Cora Addie Melton Moore. She was a devout Christian and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Willwear Hosiery. She was a beloved wife and mother.

Mrs. Crisp is survived by her husband, Glen W. Crisp of the home; daughter, Deborah Faye Johnson and husband George of Marion; son, Mark W. Crisp and wife Jane of Morganton; four sisters, Geneva Johnson, Ada Frady and Irene Chrisawn all of Old Fort and Janie Hughes of Kingsport, TN; two brothers, Lester and J. C. Moore both of Old Fort; grandchildren, Lindsay and Sarah.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 in Westmoreland Chapel at 3:00 PM with Dr. Tom Walker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of NC, Western Regional Office, P.O. Box 2702, Asheville, NC 28802.
