Andrew T. Short,87, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, in West Village Care Center after a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. John's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Aloysius Vorwald. Burial: St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reiff Funeral Home, Independence, where there will be a rosary at 3 p.m., military rites at 7 p.m. and wake service at 8 p.m. today.
Survivors include three sons, Jerald and Thomas, both of Independence, and Michael of Keokuk.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
