She was the wife of Phillip Isley and the dau of Henry Oldfather and Catharine Ziegler. Mary Magdalena gave birth to 11 children. She was born in Somerset Co, Pa and died near Edinburg, IN. After Phillip died, Mary Magdalena moved in to the home of her son that was just a stone's throw away from St. George Church and Cemetery. Her husband is buried as is described in the gravestone photo. The possibility of exhuming his remains and moving them to St. George Cemetery, so that he could be buried next to or near Mary Magdalena, was discussed at a John Isley reunion in the late 1970's. However, it was decided that such was not feasible.
