Flight Lieutenant 416787 Richardson, RAAF, was the son of Albert and Ruby Richardson; husband of Dorothy Richardson, of Kent Town, South Australia.

He died on 8th January 1945, whilst on board Mosquito KB153 from 16 Op Training, RAF Barford St John, on a bomber familiarisation exercise. The aircraft turned towards the airfield and hit the ground. The accident was caused by a port engine failure. He was 28.
