Frank was born in Titchfield England on Oct 8, 1872. He came to Canada in 1902. He travelled to Makaroff Manitoba which was the end of the rail line at that time. He went to Togo and worked as a farm hand for Mr. Sherman and Doc Baker. Frank started farming on his own 2 miles North of Mylor School on the SE qtr of sec 30-28-30 W1. He married Rose Catherine Snook on June 8, 1907 at Togo Sask. They had 3 children: Rose, Mildred and Archie. The Butts retired to Kamsack when their son Archie joined the Armed Forces.

Rose Kathleen was born April 6, 1908 near Togo. She attended Mylor School and then moved to Winnipeg where she worked as a practical nurse until her retirement. She remained single. She passed away July 28, 1984.

Catherine "Mildred" married Herbert William Harper and they farmed near Togo. They had 7 children, the 2 eldest daughters died young. The remaining 5 are Herbert, Elizabeth, Valerie, Alvin, Gwendoline.

Charles Archibald "Archie" Butt was born April 11, 1920. He married Cynthia Mary Townson on Dec 21, 1946 in Winnipeg. They made their home in Kamsack where Archie was employed with the CNR. They had 4 children: Judy, Lindsay, Suzanne, and Pamela.
