Delores Mae (Ballah) Mitchell, 85, Veedersburg, died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at her residence in Veedersburg.
She was born in Mellott, Indiana on Oct. 20, 1924 to the late Otis and Elva Cooper Ballah. On Feb. 24, 1940 she married Doral Mitchell at the Sterling Christian Church. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Mitchell; a grandson, Tyler Hall; two sisters, Marge Hollis and Eilleen Cartwright and two brothers, Charles and Robert Ballah.
Survivors include two daughters, Camilla (Jim) Robinson and Cassie (Frank) Hall, both of Veedersburg; a son, Mike Mitchell of Veedersburg; a sister, Gwen Freese of Crawfordsville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
