Goldie Fay McMath, 85, of Estancia passed away July 31 in Estancia.

Goldie was born April 9, 1921, to Lloyd and Virginia (Justus) Baily in Lake View, Texas. Goldie had been a resident of Estancia her whole life and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Estancia.

Goldie will be remembered as loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Goldie is survived by her sons, Bobby Lee and wife Bonnie McMath of Estancia, and Jimmy Allen and wife Dena McMath of Lucy, N.M.; daughter, Carolyn and husband Stan Davis of Ewing, N.M.; sister, Esther Thomas of Truth or Consequences; 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchild, Wade Allen McMath; great-grandchildren, Kasi Jo DeMarcus and Wesley Ross Calhoon; daughter, Bonnie Harris; six sisters; and six brothers.

A viewing will be held today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Estancia. Brian McMath, Eugene Ness and Pastor Albert Hagen will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Estancia Cemetery.
