Ole Madson, Story City, died

Ole Madson, 84, Story City, died about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday* at the Story City Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks.

Born in Hamilton Co., he farmed near Stanhope for many years before moving to Story City four years ago.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold T. Masted officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery west of Randall.

The body will lie in state at Larson Funeral Home, Story until noon Friday.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle*; four sons, Norman of Britt, Alvin of Ames, Orville of Story City and Jasper of Stanhope; two daughters, Mrs. Orene Everly, Fremont, Neb. and Mrs. Lila Grove, Fort Dodge; 24 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother, Ingvald, of Zearing.
