Edward Pollard Baldwin was born 16 Feb 1806 in Cavendish, Vermont to Abel Baldwin 1764-1813 and Susanna Coffeen born abt 1767 and died 1823.

Edward first married Nancy W. Reed, with whom he had one child before she died in 1846. The child was Louise Maria Baldwin.

After Nancy died, he then married Eliza Ann Rice in 1847. He had these children with her.

Edward Pollard Baldwin b. 1847 d. before he was 10 years old.
William Franklin Baldwin b. 1849 married Annie B. Norton Frederick Garron Baldwin b. 1851 d. 1901 married Ada Louise Wilson Ida Livingston Baldwin b. 1852 d. before she was 10 years old Albert Augustus Baldwin b. 1855 d. before he was 10 years old Hattie Whittier Baldwin b. 1858 married Frank L. Bartlett.

Eliza Ann died in 1888.
Edward Pollard Baldwin died in 1883. Engravers were notorious for getting dates incorrect. An application to join the Sons of the Revolution by his grandson, Lorenzo Wilson Baldwin, shows the date of death as 1883.
