She was born Sept. 15, 1862, in Farmington, Davis County, a daughter of George and Kathryn Woolen Smith. On Feb, 16, 1881 she was married to Charles A. Wilkins and the marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had been a Relief Society counselor and visiting teacher and also was active in the Primary Assn.
She was a mother of 10 sons and daughters, seven of whom survive. They are; Seth, Elwood and Rodney Wilkins; Mrs. Wayne (Ida) Davis, and Mrs. Frank (Gladys) Davis, all of Hunter; Frank Wilkins, Monticello, San Juan County, and Mrs. ---(Rita) Perkins, Magna.
Mrs. Wilkins also is survived by 37 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Hunter LDS Ward Chapel by Bishop E. Vern Breeze.
Friends may call at 4330 S. Redwood Rd. Friday afternoon and evening and at the Hunter Ward Chapel Relief Society room Saturday from 11 a.m. to time of services.
Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery.
