Bert Coffman, 68, Summoned at Polo

Polo, Ill., June 11 - Bert Coffman, 68, retired farmer and a resident of this city for a number of years, died at 7 p.m. today at his home, 113 North Division Street. He had been in poor health for some time and became seriously ill yesterday.
Mr. Coffman was born Feb. 13, 1872, near Polo. He was married in January, 1898 to Edith Hammer.
Surviving are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Neva Gatz, Mrs. Mary Deuth, and Mrs. Fern Pope, all of Polo, Mrs. Irma Oram of Boulder, Colo., and Miss Jean Coffman, a student at Beloit, Wis., college; a son Carl Coffman of Polo; and a brother, Arch Coffman of Rockford.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
