Mr. Bock was born April 22, 1945, in Hermann, the son of Henry C. Bock and wife Rose Marie, nee Brautigam.
He was the president of Citizens Bank of New Haven for many years. He worked as a salesman at Transportation Specialist Inc. at the New Haven and Washington locations.
In addition, he owned Consumer Financial Services in Washington for several years. He worked at Kellwood Manufacturing in New Haven.
He was instrumental in development of New Haven industrial businesses that previously and currently are in New Haven. He also was instrumental in getting the New Haven Care Center started up and getting grants.
Mr. Bock was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Jesse Evans; one infant brother, Donald; and two infant sisters, Laverne Rose and Delores.
He is survived by one son, Ryan Bock and wife Peggy, Lisbon, Iowa; one sister, Frances Evans, New Haven; two grandchildren, Emma and Alex Bock, Lisbon, Iowa; one nephew, Tracy Evans and wife Missy, New Haven; one great-niece, Mercy Cawley, New Haven; other relatives and many friends.
Burial was in Swiss Evangelical Reformed Cemetery, Swiss.
