Ella Lee Ayers, a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas passed away July 28, 2011. She worked for the Texas House of Representatives in the chief clerk's office for over 20 years. She was born on November 28, 1913 to John Harvey Ayers and Alice Mussett Ayers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard Ayers and Chester Ayers; her sisters, Gussie Ayers, Mattie Mae Touchstone, Ruth Johns and Marie Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Dorothy Browning and her husband C.R.; her brother, Tom Ayers; her sister-in-law, Ann Ayers; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
