Georgetown-Mrs. W H Porter, 73, died at her home in the Oak Grove section of this county this morning after being in ill health for some time. She developed pneumonia Monday.
Funeral services will be at the Oak Grove church with interment in the churchyard with six of her grandsons acting as pallbearers.

Mrs. Porter, the former Miss Sarah Frances DuRant, was born January 24, 1866, daughter of the Rev. Daniel DuRant and Talatha Altman DuRant. She is survived by ten children: Mrs. J. E. Rogerson, Salters Depot; W. A. Porter, D. D. Porter and Mrs. W. C. Harrelson, all of Georgetown; Mrs. B. I. Mercer, Andrews; Mrs. F. W. Denny and Ben H. Porter, Hartsville; W. H. Porter and J. S. Porter, Charleston; and Mrs. Alfred Forbes, Hopewell, VA.

Also surviving are one brother, Power DuRant, Johnsonville; two sisters, Mrs. R. T. Eaddy, Johnsonville, and Mrs. Ralph Mercer, Bolivia, N.C.; and numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren
