ANDREWS -- Services for James Sutton Porter, 94, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Trinity United Methodist Church, with burial in Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or Epworth Children's Home. Mayer Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel, is in charge.

Mr. Porter, husband of the late Hilda Witt Porter, died Wednesday, May 10, 1995. Born in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Wilson Henning and Sarah Frances DuRant Porter. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and was the former owner of Farm Equipment Co. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Harper's Lodge 390 AFM, Omar Shrine Temple, Lions Club, American Legion Post 69 and Woodmen of the World.

Surviving are daughters, Sarah Cloaninger and Pamela Crabtree, both of Columbia; and three grandchildren.
