PRICE - Kerry Lynn Wells, age 47, passed away September 26, 2010 after battling health problems for years.

He was born October 18, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ross O. Wells and Maxine Lambson. Kerry graduated from Carbon High in 1980, where he loved playing basketball and worked briefly as a cook at JB's.

After graduation he worked at Deer Creek Mine and later lived in Las Vegas, Laughlin, and Wendover, where he worked in various casino jobs.

Kerry was born with a rifle in one hand and a fishing pole in the other and loved the mountains and everything that went with them. In his last days, Kerry expressed his desire to get into the mountains one last time.

Kerry was a member of the LDS Church.

Kerry leaves behind his little buddy, Silver, who misses him greatly.

Kerry is survived by his mother, Maxine Wells, of Price; sister, Kriss (LaMont) Larsen, of Wellington; brothers, Ken Wells, of Price, and Keith Wells, of Salt Lake City; sister-in-law, Lynette Wells, of Wellington; and many dear nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Wells; brother, Kevin Wells; nephew, Justin Wells; grandparents, Tom (Elga) Wells, and LaVell (Emma) Lambson.

Funeral service, Thursday, September 30, 2010, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
