Myrl Whiting, formerly of Springville, Utah, died in St George, Utah on September 21, 2010. Myrl recently celebrated her 104th birthday with family and friends.
Myrl was born on July 15, 1906 to Mary and George Zabriskie in Springville, Utah. She was married to Ray Whiting in 1924. They raised their family of five daughters and one son in Springville and Ogden, Utah.
Myrl was involved in the Ogden business community for several years and was a successful real estate agent. Myrl was an officer in the Springville Senior Citizen Center prior to her move to St George.
Myrl was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, and daughters Betty, Marilyn, Dorothy and Peggy.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Hall and son, George Whiting.
Graveside services will be held at Springville's Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11 A.M.
