Wife and Mother Called to
Her Reward Sunday
Funeral Tuesday

Isabelle Petrie who was born at Fayette, Missouri, September 12, 1871 passed away at her home near Edgar, Ne**, September 30, 1923 at the age of 52 years and 13 days.

She was united in marriage to Eugene Moon September 24, 1890, to this union were born four children, Mrs. Ernest Shields and Marvin Moon of Edgar, Mrs. Ernest Wroughton of Nelson and John Moon of Fairmont.

There remain to mourn her departure her husband, the four children and eight
grandchildren.

Besides these there are left in loneliness by her going, her aged father and step-mother, one sister, Mrs. Dulaney, who has been with her the least (sic) weeks, three brothers, John and Donald, who are with the family now, the oldest brother who is unable to be present, two half-sisters and a half-brother all of Fayette, Missouri.

Added to these there remain also a host of friends here, and at her old childhood home.

Her mother passed on when Isabelle was a mere child, and later a sister who was in young womanhood.

She was reared in (sic) a Christian *he (sic) was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, and the aim of her life was to do her Master's will.

A devoted wife, a loving mother and sister, a good friend and neighbor, a real home maker is gone. May each of us profit by her faithfulness, her patient endurance. Never a murmur of her own trouble was heard, but she always tried to make others happy.

She told us she was not afraid to die, but was ready when the call should come. As her sister read the precious promises of Christ she would say, "What a blessing."

May we so live that we may be able to meet her in that home in the great beyond.

The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery. Rev William Boyers preached the sermon.
