"Last rites for George A. Brown were held at the Holman & Son Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. N. Lathrop of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiated. Internment was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Brown, who was a prominent resident of this district for many years, died at his home at 1109 Eighth Street on Wednesday afternoon after several months illness. Death was heart failure and sciatica.
With membership in the Masonic Lodge of this city and through activities in grange work for many years and through his profession as architect and builder, Mr. Brown has made a great number of friends who mourn his passing.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Brown of this city, his daughters, Mrs. Dora Evans of Newton Upper Falls, Mass., Mrs. Melzena Ordway of Hudson, Mass., sisters and brothers, and 11 grandchildren."

Twins, Dora Estella Brown, Flora E. Brown, and Melzena Frances Brown.
Nora E. was born Aug 23, 1875, married Herbert Francis Carter on Oct. 12, 1898. She died Jan. 7, 1908 at Quincy, Norfolk, Mass.
Dora E. born on Aug. 23, 1875 married Walter Robert Evans on July 1, 1905. She died Nov. 22, 1956 in Florida.
Melzena Frances Brown was born Dec. 12, 1880 and married Harvey H. Ordway.
