Path of Peace/ Sacred to the memory of/ Abraham Jacob Cantor, of Jewry St Aldgate who departed this life / Dec 9 5627/aged 65 Years/ Loving husband, a father dear/ Returned to dust lies buried here/ my his virtuous life his spirit commend/ To God his Maker and Eternal Friend/ May his soul attain everlasting life/ Is the heartfelt prayer of his Children and Wife.
