Mrs. Maude M. Moore, 85, of 528 Oak Grove St., widow of Allen S. Moore, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in the Oil City Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1890 in Forest County, a daughter of Jonathan and Cora Hollister Alabaugh and had resided in Oil City since 1929.
She was married Sept. 1, 1920, to Allen S. Moore who preceded her in death July 3, 1973.
Surviving are seven children; Mrs. Chester (Lena) Newell of Franklin, Claude Moore of Oil City, Mrs. Charles (Wilda) Lynn of Reno, Mrs. Dale (Phyllis) Lindsey of Warren, Allen W. Moore of Baghdad, Ariz., Mrs. Theodore (DeLores) Ritchie of Daleville, Ala., and Kenneth Moore of Cooperstown R.D.; one sister, Mrs. Freda Lackey of Titusville; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hutchinson and Morton Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Brig. H. G. Baker of the Salvation Army officiating.
Interment will be in Starr Cemetery near Tionesta.
