He was born on Thursday, Aug. 9, 1979, in Montgomery.
He worked in electronics with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his son of South Dakota, parents, sister, and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Jerome Acton; grandparents, David R. Acton Sr. and Clara Elizabeth Acton; and James and Wilma Green.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 10, at 10:15 a.m.. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
