SHELLEY, Oct. 23 — Victor Erastus Frandsen, Basalt, died Friday night at an Idaho Falls hospital after a brief illness.

He was born Oct. 28, 1882, at Mount Pleasant, Utah, a son of Erastus and Annice McArthur Frandsen, coming to the Shelley area In 1904. He married Sarah Luella Teeples, Dec. 20, 1906, and moved shortly after to the home In Basalt where he has since resided. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

His first wife and four children preceded him in death. He married Elva Pope, June 30. 1944. Besides his widow he, is survived by eight sons nnd daughters. Floyd and Merlin Frandsen, Shelley, Rt. 2; Vernon Frandsen, Pocatello; Erma Jones, Los Angeles; Ervin Frandsen, Moses Lake, Wash.; Mrs. Zella Criddle, Bremerton, Wash.; Neil Fraudsen, Idaho Falls, and Lola Campbell, Boise: 31 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Thera Nielson, Kaysville, Utah; Loomis Frandsen, Manti, Utah: Allen (Mack) Frandsen and Mrs. Blenda Ekstrom, Salt Lake City; Lyle Frandsen, Los Angeles.

Services have been tentatively set for Tuesday. The body is at the Nalder Funeral Home, Shelley.
