GEORGE BYFORD IS CALLED HOME
George W. Byford, of Springville, died at 5:45 Friday afternoon at Norwood Hospital, Birmingham, after a week's illness. He was 37 years of age.
The body will arrive in Decatur by rail this afternoon and be taken to the residence of his brother, Ben A. Byford, near Priceville, where funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Brown will be in charge of burial in Roselawn cemetery.
Mr. Byford is surived by his mother, Mrs. Pensacola Black of Bellgreen; four brothers, B. A and J. D. of Decatur route 2, A. W., of Knoxville and L. C. of Springville; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Nichols of Cullman and Mrs. Harvey Hampton of Cove Springs.
