MRS. BLACK, 71, GOES TO REWARD

Final Rites Set Tuesday Afternoon At 2 O'clock

Mrs. Pensacola Black, 71, well known resident of the Wheeler community, died at 12:20 p.m. at Colbert County hospital after an illness of 10 days. She had been in failing health for five years.

Deceased was born in Mississippi. She came to Alabama 30 years ago. She was a member of the Rural Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, B.B. Black; four sons, B.A. Byford, J.D. Byford, Decatur; A.W. Byford, Knoxville, and L.C. Byford, N.C, two daughters, Mrs. Annie Nichols, Cullman and Mrs. W.H. Hampton, Portland, Ore. three brothers, J.W. Bennich Decatur, A.W. Bennich, Red Bay; Andrew B. Bennich, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Cowan and Mrs. G.T. Mitchell, Tuscumbia, 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church near Hartselle, conducted by Rev. B.P. Collier, pastor. Burial will follow in Roselawn cemetery, Decatur, Brown Service directing.
