Robert Warwick Ramsey was a farmer and was in the War of 1812, ensign, Roll of Capt. William Foulk's Co (Jefferson Co., Ohio). Before entering the service he was studying for the ministry. Many of the soldiers who died in the Upper Sandusky are buried near Fort Ferree in a tract that today forms the front lawn of the court house. Robert was killed in War and died on March 24, 1813.
