Hagerman - Services for Carroll K. Condit, 52, native of Hagerman and longtime retail grocery man here, who died Friday, in Gooding, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hagerman Reorganized LDS Church. Elder Charles Vreeland will officiate. Interment will be at Hagerman Cemetery.
Mr. Condit was born Dec. 15, 1914, at Hagerman. He moved to Tacoma, Wash., during World War II, where he was employed in a shipyard. He married Ellen Heath on April 19, 1941, in Tacoma. They returned to Hagerman in 1948. He became associated with his father in the grocery business at that time.
He was a member of the Hagerman Reorganized LDS Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are: sons, Wynn, Fort Knox, Ky., and Larry, Hagerman; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lile, Portland; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Condit, Hagerman; brothers, Leonard, Anchorage, Alaska, and Sheldon, Hagerman; sister, Mrs. John Donahue, Hagerman; Mrs. Joe Helterbran and Mrs. Richard Storer, both of San Mateo, Calif., Mrs. Leslie Carney, Bridgeport, Wash., and Mrs. Adolph De Vries, Fremont, Calif., and a grandson. His Mother Mrs. Delia Condit, preceded him in death.
