Victoria "Vicki" West Rose, 91, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Vicki was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Fort Worth and graduated from TCU. She was a great lover of music and volunteered and sang in the choir at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, where she was a member for many years. When Vicki moved back to Fort Worth, she began attending Arborlawn United Methodist Church and continued to volunteer and sing in the choir. She also loved to travel with her husband, Edwin Lewis Rose. She was an active part of her community and was a member of the Dallas Garden Club, Dallas Woman's Club and later the Fort Worth Woman's Club. She also volunteered at All Saints Hospital, Children's Hospital and Meals on Wheels in Fort Worth. Survivors: Son, Mark Rose and wife, June, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Cynthia Rose, of London, England; grandchildren, Hadi Rachel Brown, Mark William Rose II and Geoffrey Stuart Rose; and brother-in-law, Bill Robertson and wife, Mary.
