She was a native of Golden Gate where she was born March 22,1894,The daughter of Jake and Mary Brock Windle. Her age was 64 yrs 10 months and 22 days.She was married to Charles (Code) Adams in Mt. Carmel on March 27,1911.
She is survived by her husband and eight children
Mrs. George Smith of Patoka,Ind. Mrs. Austin Howder of Keensburg, Mrs. Melvin Miller of Lancaster and Mrs. Robert Smith of Canada, Alfred,Orville and Bobby Adams Of Mt. Carmel, Lester Adams of Prairie View, Ill. There are 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, also
two sisters Mrs. Sarah Lindsey of Hazelton,Ind.
and Emma Davis of Francisco,Ind. Her mother and father and one brother, Silas Windle,one sister an infant and one daughter Freda May preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Mission.
Mrs. Adams was taken to the Roy D. Short Company Funeral Home where she will remain until 10 Tuesday Morning and then will be taken to the second street Pentecostal church where services will be held at 2 pm. The Rev. James Eastman will officate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial cem.
