Davis Funeral
SHENANDOAH - The funeral for Jesse Cleveland Davis, 53, of Elkton, will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at Bryant Hollow by the Rev. K. K. Watkins and the Rev. K. K. Watkins and the Rev. Samuel Cubbage.
Burial will be in the Dovel Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was found dead in Shenandoah Monday morning and Virginia Medical Examine Dr. Gregory Mann ruled Tuesday that he had been murdered. Death was caused by "multiple blows to the back of the head" and Davis also had been stabbed, the autopsy showed.
No arrests have been made.
