Edward W. Erschen, 47, Dies Here; Funeral Saturday
Edward William Erschen, 47, 1216 North Main street, died unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home here.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary church. The Rev. J. T. Shields will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery, Odell.
Mr. Erschen was born on April 2, 1905, in Odell, the son of Nichalis and Mary (Nolan) Erschen. He lived all his life in the vicinity of Odell and Pontiac. He attended St. Paul school in Odell. At the time of his death he was employed as a construction worker. He was married to Frances Long on Sept. 30, 1939, in Waterloo, Iowa. He was a member of St. Mary church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Moose.
