NEW BEDFORD -- Patrick P. McConnell, 53, of New Bedford died unexpectedly at home Thursday, March 11, 2004.
Born in Pennsylvania, the son of the late Phillip D. and Myrtle E. (Tyger) McConnell, he lived in Swansea prior to moving to New Bedford two years ago.
Mr. McConnell was formerly employed as a security guard for Elite Security of Fall River.
He was a Vietnam Navy veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Kathryn Bostek of Fairfield, Pa.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His memorial service and burial of cremated remains will take place in Emmitsburg, Md., at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd.
