He was born 12 Apr 1962 in Ridgecrest, CA. He graduated from Burroughs High School in 1980 and attended Cerro Coso Community College.
He was an avid motorcross rider and competed in the sport for about 30 years.
Brian was a loving husband, and father, son and brother and friend to all who knew him.
Brian leaves his wife Tania and his children Christopher, 9; Jessica, 7; and Jeremy, 4. He leaves his father and mother, Bob and Marge Vargus, sister and husband Daniel Hamilton.
The Vargus home was built by Brian and his Dad. Many of Brian's friends helped raise the dome.
