Loretta Jean Heath, 69, of Gridley died April 8, 2001, at her residence.
Born in Gridley, she was a lifelong Mid-Valley resident. She was retired as a nurse's aide after 20 years at Butte County Hospital in Oroville.
Survivors include her companion, Donald Rakow of Gridley; four sons, Donald Clonts of Thermalito, James Williams, William C. Heath and Jeffery Heath, all of Oroville; four sisters, Bertha Moore of Marysville, Carol Matt of Oroville and Dolly Maddox and Alice Rush, both of California; a brother, Jerry Asbury of California; and nine grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Scheer Memorial Chapel in Oroville. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Live Oak Cemetery.
