Death of a Venerable Man.
Died at the residence of his son-in-law, Henry Breniser, Esq., of New Derry, Westmoreland county, Pa., Mr. Timothy Akers, aged 74 years. Deceased was the only surviving brother of W.L. Akers, of this place, and of Mr. Israel Akers, whose death was noticed in the Tribune about a year since. Mr. Akers was for more than fifty years an active member of the M.E. church, and his numerous family have gone out in the world to reflect and perpetuate the virtues of their parents.
