He was the son of Calvin S. and Linda Jane (Burton) Fultz. Earl married Edith (Clark) Fultz. They had been married 47 years when he passed away in 1983. Two infant sons also preceded him in death Earl Jr. and Donald Fultz. Surviving are three sons and five daughters. They raised their family in the Little Perry and Haldeman area of Rowan County, Kentucky.
