Joyce Ann Fultz Clay, age 73, of Linden Road, Ashland, Kentucky, formerly of Little Perry Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at her residence.

Born September 11, 1949, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Edith Clark Fultz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl Fultz, Jr., Donald Ray Fultz, Buster Fultz, and Carl Fultz; two sisters, Dollie Maze and Meredith Messer; one daughter, Melissa Ann May; and two granddaughters, Marissa Dawn May and Letcia Ann May.

She is survived by two sons: Dewayne May and Jessica of Morehead and Arthur Millhouse and Charolette Stevenson of Ashland; one daughter, Melinda Copley and Nick Whitt of Ashland; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and former secretary for Gary's Auto Center in Morehead. She loved to sing, to attend church, and spend time with family. She also enjoyed fishing and making special memories with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Hamm and Bro. Jeff Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in the Fultz Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
