Mrs. Beulah Childers, 47, of Cobden, died Oct. 31, in the Styrest Nursing Home, Carbondale, after a long illness.

Mrs. Childers was born Dec. 22, 1918, in Cobden, the daughter of James and Martha Roach Harrell. She married Charles Childers, Sept. 17, 1959, in Mountain Glen.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden.

Mrs. Childers leaves her husband; daughters, Mrs. Martha Rider of Grand Chain and Mrs. Frances Calhoun of Carbondale sisters, Mrs. Ruby Wright of Cobden, Mrs. Hazel Bloodworth of Saybrook, and Mrs. Tempa Reed of Mt. Vernon; brothers, Raymond Harrell of Mt. Vernon and Wesley Harrell of Morris; and four grandchildren.

Burial in Alto Pass Cemetery.
