Entered into eternal rest on the morning, September 19, 2010, John Horace Cooper, Sr., resident of Daniel Island, South Carolina, husband of the late Joyce McKenzie Cooper.

The relatives and friends of Mr. John Horace Cooper, Sr. are invited to attend his graveside service on Tuesday, September 21 at 10:0 am at Christ St. Paul's Parish Churchyard, 4981 Chapel Road, Yonges Island, SC 29449. Arrangements by J.HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Mr. Cooper was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on February 15, 1938, a son of the late James M. Cooper and Mary High Cooper.

Mr. Cooper had a long career as a Real Estate Appraiser where he served on the Veterans Administration Appraisal Panel for more than forty years. Mr. Cooper served in the South Carolina National Guard.

Surviving are a son, Johnny Cooper, of Charleston; a daughter, Deborah Cooper Conley, of Daniel Island, SC; three granddaughters, Maria Cooper, Andrea Cooper, Katherine Conley; one grandson, John Conley; a son-in-law, Bob J. Conley; one sister, seven brothers, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Charleston 676 Wando Park Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
